Rebirth

A digital illustration I did focusing on the notion of the rebirth of a spirit out of the husk of a human; the ambiguity of the sylph's direction (entering/exiting) could play either way, maybe she's being "reborn" as a human.  It's 99% done, I'm not fully happy with the lower background but satisfied with the rest of it, especially the wings; usually when I draw wings they're not, ah, as well-done lol.

I normally don't have the time nor patience to work on any digital piece longer than a couple hours but this one has about 5-6 hours or so into it with another 1-2 left for tinkering and reformatting.

Used my trusty ol' Wacom Bamboo tablet, Photoshop CS6, original format is 2400x3800, file size 1.06GB.
