First off, looking up at the miscellaneous bits of the journal it seems that everything is still the same, except I stopped drinking energy drinks and replaced those with more coffee.

So yeah, I'm working on this game, it's not anything crazy, it's not a video game but something printed, something that's been on my bucket list of things to accomplish for a long time, about 15+ years.  It was something that for a long, long time I wasn't sure if I'd actually have the gumption to tackle and finish and release, so I never really talked about it much at all; didn't want to jinx it :)  But now it's been something I've worked on for the last couple years and I'm pretty confident that this is something I now have the chops to be able to finish.

I just needed some time to refine my craft a little more, find those methods that really worked, and generate the content.

A lot of the art bits I've done over the last 2 years that aren't scifi or IP-related, i.e. fan art stuff, is actually gonna be for my game.  So things like "In Search of Another Adventure" and "Autumn Lancer" and "Direwolf" are all gonna be there.  My Bishamonten series of samurai, the Ossimancer's Altar, all of that fun stuff.

I'm really excited at the prospect of getting this done. My main worry is that the game itself will be, uh, bad, but hopefully I test it enough to work out any of the major kinks :D If everything goes well and I can maintain my work rate I should have all the art wrapped up by June or so, then it's back to finishing up the individual pieces and rules, testing, and then getting it set up for print.  Maybe a Fall release? Hoping for that :)

Anyway, back to work. Thanks for checking out all my doodles :)

Hi! I'm part of a team of game designers and we loved your works, expecially the curious fusion between digital art and old painting style of some of them. If you're interested on being the illustrator of one of our boardgames you can e-mail us at marmariani@hotmail.it and we'll talk about it.

Good luck of your project ;)
