First off, looking up at the miscellaneous bits of the journal it seems that everything is still the same, except I stopped drinking energy drinks and replaced those with more coffee.
So yeah, I'm working on this game, it's not anything crazy, it's not a video game but something printed, something that's been on my bucket list of things to accomplish for a long time, about 15+ years. It was something that for a long, long time I wasn't sure if I'd actually have the gumption to tackle and finish and release, so I never really talked about it much at all; didn't want to jinx it But now it's been something I've worked on for the last couple years and I'm pretty confident that this is something I now have the chops to be able to finish.
I just needed some time to refine my craft a little more, find those methods that really worked, and generate the content.
A lot of the art bits I've done over the last 2 years that aren't scifi or IP-related, i.e. fan art stuff, is actually gonna be for my game. So things like "In Search of Another Adventure" and "Autumn Lancer" and "Direwolf" are all gonna be there. My Bishamonten series of samurai, the Ossimancer's Altar, all of that fun stuff.
I'm really excited at the prospect of getting this done. My main worry is that the game itself will be, uh, bad, but hopefully I test it enough to work out any of the major kinks If everything goes well and I can maintain my work rate I should have all the art wrapped up by June or so, then it's back to finishing up the individual pieces and rules, testing, and then getting it set up for print. Maybe a Fall release? Hoping for that
Anyway, back to work. Thanks for checking out all my doodles

Stretch Goals? Okay :D
Been absolutely swamped with work the last few days, I meant to post this up on the campaign page but just didn't get around to it. I figured since the campaign is funded, and a lot of the cool kids do it, I'd add a couple of small stretch goals :) Nothing major I think, if funding hits $700 then I'll include a mini art print (4"x6") and if it hits $800 then I'll add in a spitpaint version of one of the hero cards for my Fields of Eleria card game; Camathus' illustration started off as a spitpaint, so I thought that might be something cool to shoot for hehe. Still can't believe this is gonna be made :) http://kck.st/4b87Tfq
Annnnnnnnd it's funded! :O
I honestly didn't expect this, thought *maybe* I'd get to 25%, maybe 33% at the end of the first 24hrs...but my zine is fully funded, it's gonna be made, and that's insanely exciting! http://kck.st/4b87Tfq I didn't even think about stretch goals because I thought I'd hopefully make funding at the 11th hour and that'd be that, but now.. well.. I guess I'll have to see hehe.
Nox Mars #0 LIVE on Kickstarter!
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/noxmars-0/noxmars-0-an-art-zine-by-cobaltplasma-for-make-100?ref=project_build It's live, like, yeah, check it out, or don't, but please do! :D
Nox Mars #0 launching super soon!
Okay I think I got everything all set, images are laid out, production is sourced, this will be a quick one, hopefully a successful one, too :) https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/noxmars-0/noxmars-0-an-art-zine-by-cobaltplasma-for-make-100 Gonna be making a zine about my spitpaints, 100 copies, all signed and numbered with 5 reserved for sketch covers. US-only for the print stuff unfortunately, it's just too expensive to ship outside of the US and I don't think it would be worth it for something like a zine like this. But yeah, excited to launch this, let's see how this goes haha

Hi! I'm part of a team of game designers and we loved your works, expecially the curious fusion between digital art and old painting style of some of them. If you're interested on being the illustrator of one of our boardgames you can e-mail us at marmariani@hotmail.it and we'll talk about it.
Good luck of your project
